IvaraX takes a systematic, multi-source approach to building provider profiles. Unlike directories that accept self-submitted listings at face value, we verify claims against public data and provide editorial analysis on every provider.
Most B2B directories rely on self-reported data with no verification. Providers fill out a form, pay for a premium listing, and their claims are published as-is. Rankings are influenced by advertising spend, not actual capability.
Review platforms suffer from a different problem: reviews can be incentivized, cherry-picked, or fabricated. A provider with 20 five-star reviews is not necessarily better than one with 5 thoughtful reviews. Volume is rewarded over accuracy.
This is specifically problematic for technology services, where capabilities are nuanced and hard to evaluate from marketing materials alone. The difference between a firm that claims to do "AI consulting" and one that has actual machine learning engineers, published models, and production deployments is enormous. Traditional directories cannot distinguish between the two.
Providers are identified through systematic research, not inbound applications. We scan company databases, LinkedIn, Clutch, G2, Crunchbase, industry event speaker lists, open-source contributor profiles, and technology partnership directories (such as AWS Partner Network and Microsoft Partner Center).
Providers do not pay to be discovered or listed. Discovery is driven by category-specific research to ensure coverage depth across all service areas.
Each provider's information is cross-referenced across multiple independent sources:
Collected data is evaluated across multiple dimensions:
Every provider receives an editorial analysis with three components: Key Strengths (what distinguishes this provider), Ideal For (what types of clients and projects they serve best), and Things to Consider (honest observations about limitations or trade-offs).
This editorial content is produced independently. Providers cannot pay for favorable analysis or preview content before publication. Read our editorial standards.
Completed profiles are published with consistent, structured data fields that make it easy to compare providers side-by-side. Providers can claim their profiles to keep information accurate and supplement with additional detail.
Profiles are updated as new information becomes available. We actively monitor for significant company changes such as acquisitions, service pivots, or closures.
Provider listing order on IvaraX is determined by two factors: data completeness and relevance. Providers with richer, more complete profiles naturally surface higher. Category-specific matching considers whether a service is a provider's primary focus or a secondary offering.
There are no paid placements, no auction-based rankings, and no sponsored results. Featured status, when applied, is an editorial decision based on data quality, not payment.
Our methodology evolves as we add new data sources and refine our evaluation criteria. We are actively expanding coverage across categories, US states, and industries.
Provider feedback helps us improve accuracy. If you notice incorrect information or have suggestions for our evaluation process, get in touch.
